AFEEC again will offer an award to the best electrical contractor in each member country. The award is to give due recognition to an electrical contractor for its outstanding performance in the execution of projects.

The best electrical contractor will be chosen based on the following criteria:

1.	Registered Local Company (not foreign investment).
2.	In possession of ISO or Quality Manual related to electrical works.
3.	Employs experts in each specialty.
4.	Good track record in carrying out electrical projects for the last 5 years.
5.	Good financial performance for the last 5 years, audited by Public Accountant.
6.	Posses health, safety and security plan. Has minimum work related accident report for the last 5 years.
7.	Posses standard procedure for electrical installation works.
8.	Posses heavy and other supporting equipment to carry out electrical projects.
